What I bought in HK

The true fashionista is MIA YNARES.  I am just a mere wanna-be.  Just like I am a frustrated wanna-be Gucci gang member.  But every so often, people actually care about what I think.  I don’t really know why.   Especially since I am so fickle minded when it comes to shopping that it ends up I like EVERYTHING.  But to those who ask my opinion, and more than eager to find out what I got in HK…. Well… I hate to disappoint, but travelling with two boys kinda means lots of toys, rather than manolos.

However….!!!!!!  Yes, there’s a purchase!  Thank HEAVENS!  I did get a MULBERRY BAG.  It’s a beauty.  The damage?  You’d be happy to hear that it is a fraction of the cost of a birkin at only 7000 HKD!!!!!  That means less than 42000 pesos.  Hey!!! You can buy 8 mulberry’s for the cost of one birkin!  And so…. I am now a proud owner of a BEAUTIFUL NEW PIECE of LEATHER bag,  that smells oh so heavenly I wanna sniff it until my lungs burn from that leatherly scent and the cows look at me with evil eyes knowing I am guilty of slaughtering  one of their relatives.

I had to troop to my favorite accessories shop called ARTINI.  Its inside Seibu. And I first fell in love with their earrings, but then… of course, I have the matching syndrome disease and had to get my hands on the necklace, then the rings and pretty soon… everything else.  Its ok since their not REAL, but just like Swarovski, ARTINI is not CHEAP.  It is gold plated.  It doesn’t tarnish, and it comes with a lifetime warranty!  YEAY!  Artini must have been impressed with Tupperware’s mantra.

A pair of earrings will cost you between 800HKD to 1200HKD.  A necklace will probably cost you anywhere from 2800 to 4000 HKD.  But remember, how much more it would cost you if they were real.  Even if you shop for gold at the souks!!!!  These are not fake diamonds, ok?  Its an accessory shop.  Who would ever wear real accessories anyway?!!!!   But please, wear REAL diamonds!  IF you can’t afford it, wear the accessories!

A pair of pumps from AMAYA, a brand from Spain, and its not the prettiest shoe in Lane Crawford, especially beside Michael Kors, and Sergio Rossi, but man, I could run in these pumps!!!!  NO exaggeration.  They are by far the comfiest pumps I’ve ever tried on.  At 1200 HKD, I’m taking it home!

Lastly, there’s nothing like a new pair of shades to match the brown of my new bag purchase.  It so happens that  Oliver People’s has a pair that looks decent on my features.  I’ve never owned a pair of Oliver People’s and I think I’m still a Tom Ford and a Kate Spades sunglass fan, but hey, it never hurts to try.

And so… there it is… my whole HOng KOng trip.  Aren’t you proud of me?!
